Mike Brannon is also the creative force behind The award-winning Synergy Quartet, a jazz/rock collective which released a chart-topping debut CD, 'Barcodes', in 2001, with guests Trey Gunn of King Crimson and Jeff Coffin of the Grammy-winning Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
